Quinn Summer 2023
Limiting waitlist to performance and hunting homes.
Although there are many golden retrievers being bred, the availability of well-bred Goldens, with all of their health clearances, is limited.
Careful consideration is given to the stud dog and our aim is to breed Golden Retrievers with both looks and personality. All litters are carefully planned; the sire must meet our requirements before breeding. Among our requirements are health clearances on Hips, Elbows, Heart and Eyes (eyes require a CERF exam annually). We are dedicated to breeding sound, healthy dogs that can compete in all venues or just be a cherished family pet.
Our Golden Retrievers are a part of our family and we expect the same for our puppies. We want our dogs in good homes where they will be raised and kept. We are very selective about the families that adopt our puppies, because we want each and every puppy to have the best home possible. Quality puppies was our first goal, but producing beautiful, healthy puppies that would be versatile, a master hunter, show dog superstar, or a wonderful family pet, was our ultimate goal.
We do not sell to third parties or brokers, because we want to know who has our dogs.
If you would like to purchase one of our puppies, we welcome e-mails or calls. If you are interested in reserving a puppy, please complete our puppy application form. Providing accurate information on our puppy application form will help us place the right puppy in the right home forever. That is why we select which puppy goes to each home. We will contact you after we have reviewed the questionnaire. All information will be confidential and used only by the Breeder/Owners of this litter.
Many people like to plan months ahead, so some puppies in our litters are reserved before the litter is even whelped.
Our puppies will be ready at 7 weeks of age. We require our puppies to be picked up within a day or two of the puppies reaching 49 days old. Please see our page on puppy development. Our puppies are registered with the prefix Snowy Ridge and are sold with AKC limited registration. This means that the dog is registered with the AKC, however none of its offspring are eligible for registration. Dogs with AKC limited registration can compete in any AKC event and junior showmanship events except conformation events — which are for breeding stock.
Price and Deposit
The puppy price is $3000, male or female, and reflects the quality of breeding and the resources we have invested in our dogs including acquiring all health clearances as outlined by the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA). We require a deposit of $500 to reserve a puppy, with the balance due in cash or cashier’s check at the time a puppy is picked up. The deposit is non-refundable unless we are unable to provide you with a puppy. We expect that buyers will pick their puppy up at our kennel at the time arranged. We do not ship puppies via cargo; they can ride in the cabin of an airplane in an approved soft-sided carrier.
All puppies come with the following:

- Early Scent Introduction
- Continued daily individual stimulation until puppy goes home
- First worming and vaccinations
